ABOUT MARCO BOGAZZI

Marco Bogazzi is an industrial designer, craftsman, and custom furniture maker based in Portland, Oregon, specializing in handcrafted wooden seating and tables, including dining chairs, lounge chairs, stools, and custom tables for residential and commercial spaces. With over 20 years of experience designing and building products from concept through production, and formal training at Pratt Institute, Marco brings a rigorous industrial design methodology to contemporary furniture made from 100% solid wood and premium textiles. Each piece is thoughtfully engineered and built using enduring joinery techniques for long-term use.

Before founding his Portland studio, Marco established and led the industrial design department at Big Green Egg, where he directed the development of modular furniture systems and core products that generated over $80 million in revenue. He has also founded and operated custom furniture studios in Panama and the United States, producing bespoke work for private residences, hospitality spaces, and restaurants worldwide. Today, Marco and his team designs and builds each piece in his Portland, Oregon workshop, working closely with homeowners, designers, and architects to create solid wood furniture defined by material integrity, precision, and longevity.
