Return & Refund Policy

At Marco Bogazzi, every piece of furniture is handcrafted to order in our Portland, Oregon workshop using premium solid hardwoods. Because each order is built specifically for you, our return policy differs from that of mass-produced furniture retailers.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may be canceled or modified within 72 hours of purchase for a full refund.

After 72 hours, production planning and material procurement begin. Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled.

Custom Furniture

Custom/customized furniture is furniture customized to dimensions and finishes that differ from those in the product listing. They are specifically manufactured for the customer and we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

- Change of mind

- Incorrect measurements provided by the customer

- Color or wood species preferences

- Custom dimensions or custom design requests

- Products that have been used, installed, or altered

We strongly encourage customers to carefully review dimensions, finish selections, and specifications before placing an order. If you have any questions, we're happy to help before production begins.

Shipping Damage

Please inspect your shipment upon delivery.

If your furniture arrives damaged:

- Note any visible damage with the delivery carrier whenever possible.

- Take photographs of the packaging and the damaged furniture.

- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will work promptly with you and the shipping carrier to repair, replace, or otherwise resolve the issue at no additional cost.

Manufacturing Defects

We stand behind our craftsmanship.

If your furniture has a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 30 days of delivery and provide photographs of the issue.

If we determine that the problem resulted from workmanship or materials, we will, at our discretion:

- Repair the item,

- Replace the affected component, or

- Replace the entire product if necessary.

Natural Characteristics of Wood

Wood is a natural material. Variations in grain, color, figure, mineral streaks, knots, and seasonal movement are normal characteristics and are not considered defects.

Because every board is unique, no two pieces of furniture will look exactly alike. We do make every effort to ensure consistency of material and finish within the scope of the order/project.

Finish Variations

We make every effort to accurately represent wood species and finishes. However, colors may vary due to:

- Natural variation in wood

- Lighting conditions

- Computer and mobile device screens

- Hand-applied finishes

These natural variations are part of the character of handcrafted solid wood furniture.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

If a refund is approved after production has begun, any refund may be reduced by the cost of materials, labor already performed, and any non-recoverable expenses incurred.
